Supporting people in the justice system

We know that there are many reasons why people become involved with the justice system.聽Our aim is to help people to turn their lives around and live independent, crime-free lives and reduce reoffending.

Every day we see that with the right support people can, and do, turn their lives around.

Our services

We deliver a range of services to people in touch with the justice system. This includes our liaison and diversion services at police custody and court; our accommodation or wellbeing support services for people under probation supervision or leaving prison; and our Criminal Record Support Service providing advice to individuals and employers about disclosing criminal records. Visit Our justice services to find out more.

Supported housing

We provide a range of supported housing services for people who have been in the justice system. Our Community Accommodation Service Tier 2 (CAS-2) provides housing and support to people on bail or released from prison on licence across England and Wales. Video: Darren's story

Hear from Darren who we supported on his release from prison. He had been in and out of prison several times, always released homeless. We helped him break the cycle of #CellStreetRepeat with housing and financial support.

Our Intensive Health Resettlement service in Greenwich provides support for people with medium- to high- mental health needs who have just left prison.

The tailored support helps people to find somewhere to live, get the financial support they are entitled to, get the right healthcare in place including a GP, dentist, mental health and substance misuse support, and rebuild relationships and positive support structures. Despite having complex needs and a history of repeat offending, our work has seen:

  • a significant reduction in reoffending by service users
  • 95% of service users gain secure accommodation
  • 70% of service users abstain from substances.
Coming out of prison this time has been different, I got a 澳门王中王论坛 flat all to myself which is amazing. But the support I get is incredible, I have a group I go to for addiction, 澳门王中王论坛 takes me to make sure I鈥檓 going and I鈥檓 okay. They helped me get on track with my bank account and start doing some work. I think this is it for me now, my life is back on track.
