Supporting young people

We understand that life can be tough when you’re starting out. Especially for young people who have faced disadvantage. Our range of services support young people to learn and gain qualifications, give people a supportive place to live, and help with substance misuse.

We recognise that each young person is different, so we take a personalised approach. We have extensive experience in supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND); those facing mental health difficulties, and those in touch with the criminal justice system.

As well as providing support we campaign for change, using our experience to improve policies affecting young people.

Our services

°ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõÂÛ̳ Education

At °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõÂÛ̳ Education, everyday we help hundreds of students realise their potential and gain the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to progress confidently onto their next step.

As one of England’s largest independent training providers, our focus is on creating a more personalised learning experience, empowering students to develop the personal and professional skills employers are actively seeking.

Our Education Centres operate across England offering college level provision, smaller class sizes, skilled and experienced tutors, practical workshops, and one-to-one support, to ensure our students have what they need to progress to further levels of study or start their career.

As part of °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõÂÛ̳ Education, our largest education centre, , offers a range of higher-level vocational courses supporting students to go further in their studies or start their career. Our apprenticeships at Totton College supports students to earn while they learn, and Totton’s Special Educational Needs and Development (SEND) provision supports students to achieve independence in adulthood.

Designed in collaboration with employers, our Get Set! courses take a unique approach enabling students to learn in their own way and at their own pace. With our strategic partners Skills Builder, MyBnk and Empatico, we ensure our students are taught financial, human, and essential life skills they need to succeed. With our courses, students gain certified vocational qualifications, enrichment, employability, maths and English, and work placement opportunities with national and local businesses.

°ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõÂÛ̳ Education is open to students aged 14 – 19+, no matter your previous education experiences. Some of our students loved school, and some have struggled in mainstream education, some are looking to launch their careers with a hands-on vocational course, some might have SEN and benefit from our tailored one-to-one support. What brings our community together is the desire to get set for a bright future.

We are rated Good by Ofsted, hold the Matrix standard for information, advice and guidance services, and have received the Incyte platinum award for safeguarding. Our mission is simple – we want you to be who you want to be.
